Ever since I can remember, I’ve felt a strong calling to make my social worlds fairer and more inclusive and to connect people together. I’ve always attended to the experiences of the marginalized, and I'm committed to support and empower people to live in line with their values and to call on those in power to do better. I consider myself lucky to be able to do this on individual levels (through therapy and supporting clinicians) and on organizational levels through consultation, training, and corporate partnerships to develop anti-oppressive operations and systems. I feel honored to be a part of people’s journeys toward social justice.
I'm a clinical psychologist (licensed in California, PSY27845) and have a strong academic research background, which means I can translate the scientific literature from theory to practice. On principle, I care about using evidence-based approaches, so I use a blend of science-backed techniques for providing and promoting equitable mental health and social justice.
